Gweru based afro dancehall rising artist, Polite Moyo popularly known as Mad P is set to perform at an event dubbed ‘‘Mad Saturday musicians’ concert’’ tomorrow, the 3rd of May in Gweru at Mkoba 11 business centre.This comes two weeks after the 24-year-old released his debut eight track EP “Musha Mukadzi.”In an interview with 98.4FM News, Moyo said he is geared up to perform at this concert. “I am really excited about this performance. It will be my first since my return from South Africa in November last year. I am prepared to deliver a powerful performance to my fans.”Moyo said he is going to perform songs from his latest EP for the first time. The Mboma hitmaker who has worked with Zimbabwean dancehall artist Platinum Prince, said the tracks were inspired by his personal life experiences.“The tracks on my new EP reflect my life journey and love experiences, drawing inspiration from the highs and lows of relationships. I am very excited to share this personal experience with the community.I believe Musha Mukadzi and Mboma resonate with people due to their relatable lyrics about love,” he said.The budding artist who is inspired by renowned dancehall artists like Winky D believes his vibrant imagination also inspires his work. “I believe my creativity which enables me to come up with my own ideas after learning from living legends like Winky D and Vybz Kartel’s solidifies my place in the music industry,” said Mad P.Mad P is currently working on releasing visuals for the tracks from his EP
